Do I have to insure the full cost of my trip? Can I just cover $1,000 even if my trip cost is higher? Rich
Hi Rich,
You can insure any trip cost. However, if you want certain benefits like Cancel For Any Reason or pre-existing conditions coverage, you have to insure your entire prepaid, non-refundable costs.
On the other hand, if you mainly want the medical & medical evacuation and the other coverages like travel delay, baggage, etc. you still get all those no matter if you insure a $1 trip cost or a $10,000 (or more) trip cost.
