Not-Covered Events That Impact School & Student Groups
Here are some specific exclusions your school group needs to know about:
Not feeling safe to travel (volcanoes, swine flu, bird flu, terrorism threats or concerns, civil unrest)
War (whether declared or undeclared)
Your school or advisory board cancels your child's trip
Change in plans ("I just don't want to go")
Any government regulation or prohibition
Failure of any tour operator, Common Carrier, person or agency to provide the bargained-for travel arrangements. Note: this is different from Financial Default.

This means that if the event's not specifically named as a covered reason, you won't have a valid claim.
